Name: Find My Radio Code
Price range: ££

Question 1

How do I find my car radio serial number?

Accepted Answer

Most serial numbers are printed on a sticker on the side, top, or back of the radio unit. Some radios display it on-screen by holding the power button for 3–5 seconds. Others show it after a failed unlock attempt. Check our brand-specific guides for step-by-step instructions.

Question 2

How quickly will I receive my radio code?

Accepted Answer

The vast majority of codes are delivered instantly on screen immediately after payment. Your code is also emailed to you. In rare cases requiring manual research, delivery takes up to 2–8 hours.

Question 3

Which car and radio brands are supported?

Accepted Answer

We support 25 car brands with dedicated pages, including Volkswagen, Ford, Nissan, Renault, Audi, Mercedes, Vauxhall, Toyota and Honda. We also decode OEM and aftermarket radios from Blaupunkt, Becker, Bosch, Continental, Visteon and Grundig.

Question 4

Do I need my VIN number to get the radio code?

Accepted Answer

No. You only need the serial number printed on your radio unit. No VIN, no logbook, no dealer visit required.

Question 5

What happens if the code doesn't work?

Accepted Answer

We offer a 100% money-back guarantee. If your code doesn't unlock your radio, contact support with a photo of the serial number and we'll re-decode or issue a full refund — no questions asked.

Question 6

Is it legal to get a radio code online?

Accepted Answer

Completely legal. You are simply retrieving the code your radio was originally manufactured with. Dealerships use the same process. We only decode radios for their rightful owners.

Question 7

How much does a radio code cost?

Accepted Answer

Prices start from £4.95, usually far cheaper than a dealership. The exact price depends on your car brand and radio model and is shown before you pay.
