Radio Code Guides
Everything you need to find your serial number, enter your code and get back to listening.
Three steps, about a minute
No tools, no appointment, no waiting on hold. Here is the whole process.
Find your serial number
Look for the sticker on the side or top of your radio, or read the serial straight off the screen after a few failed code attempts.
Step-by-step detail
On most cars you can slide the radio out with a cheap set of removal keys. On Ford, Vauxhall and Renault units the serial is often shown on the display instead — hold the right buttons until it appears. You never need your VIN.
Enter it and pay
Type the serial in and we check it against our database first, showing your exact price. Pay by card and your code appears on screen instantly.
Step-by-step detail
We match the first characters of your serial to the radio manufacturer, then retrieve the factory code for that unit. Payment is handled by Stripe — we never see your card details. Your code is also emailed to you as a permanent record.
Unlock your radio
Switch the ignition to accessory mode, enter the code with your radio preset buttons, and confirm. Your music is back.
Step-by-step detail
Press preset button 1 to cycle the first digit, button 2 for the second, and so on, then hold OK, TP or RDS to confirm. If the display shows WAIT, leave the radio powered on until the countdown ends and try again.
